Receptionist/Office Administrative Assistant – Elk Grove Village, IL
$45,000 - $50,000/Annually (depending on experience)
We are a leading manufacturer and distributor of sporting goods and athletic equipment. Our products are in the hands of athletes all over the world, and we are looking to expand further. To accommodate our growth, we have moved into a larger office, and now need an additional Receptionist/Office Administrative Assistant for our team.
We are focused on launching innovative products and providing specialized customer service, which separates us from our competitors. Being a Receptionist/Office Administrative Assistant, you will act as the gatekeeper and first point of contact, interacting with interdepartmental team members, senior executives, a variety of creative professionals and clients. The Receptionist/Office Administrative Assistant will be responsible for answering and directing calls to appropriate associates as necessary, mail distribution, requisition of supplies, as well as additional clerical duties. Receptionist/Office Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
- Screen all incoming phone calls and direct to appropriate party
- Retrieve and distribute phone messages
- Manage physical filing system for all client folders in all locations
- Meet and greet corporate clients and visitors, and direct accordingly
- Arrange for pickup/delivery of overnight and intra-day packages
- Order office supplies, including stationary, office snacks and other supplies
- Assemble materials for all training classes and new hire orientations
- Client documentation processing/mailing
- Perform special projects as assigned by management, including scanning/copying and creating training and new hire material
- Create client’s profiles in CRM system for new contracts
- Prepare documentation
- Office management duties
Receptionist/Office Administrative Assistant Requirements:
- 1 year of office experience preferred, will consider retail experience
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Outgoing, service-oriented personality
- Must be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
