Purpose: The Human Resources Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting Human Resources data to support decision-making and the optimization and efficiency of HR processes. This role will provide insights and recommendations for workforce planning, talent management, and compliance. The HR Analyst plays a key role in providing information to support the achievement of business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the HRIS system (UKG), Learning Management System (Schoox), Applicant Tracking System (talentReef), management and other resources.
- Maintain and enhance the usage of the HRIS system, communicating features to maximize return on investment.
- Responsible for the integration and communication of data between HR platforms, vendors and technologies.
- Stays up to date on all upgrades and new features of HR systems communicating impact to users as needed.
- Develop standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate people metrics and insights.
- Documents all HR policies and procedures and HR process governance, makes recommendations on best practices for training and standardization.
- Evaluate data and assist in the development of performance management strategies.
- Support the HR team in developing strategies for succession planning and talent development.
- Identify and recommend short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
- Functions as project manager for implementation of upgrades and new projects.
- Coordinates the resolution of vendor problems, manages support cases in systems to ensure resolution is received.
- Facilitate implementation of new training, development, recruiting, and other related initiatives.
- Assist the GM of HR with the execution of internal and external audits.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Computer proficiency required, including experience with HRIS, learning management and applicant tracking systems; experience with UKG strongly preferred or other workforce and human resource SaaS platform.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced Excel knowledge required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration, or related field required
- Must be able to lift and move objects weighting up to 25 pounds
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is primarily seated, but requires standing, walking, bending, stooping and reaching throughout the course of the shift. Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
