Your Role
The Payroll Analyst is responsible for assisting the execution of payroll processes within the HCM/Oracle Cloud and Kronos Workforce Dimensions payroll systems in compliance with laws, SOX and operational control audits. Key responsibilities will include: providing day-to-day guidance to Payroll team, leading projects, and providing technical and analytical support to routine processes as well as ad-hoc payroll activities and issue remediation.

Your Impact
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure timely and accurate gross to net pay to associates in compliance with Department of Labor laws for on cycle and off cycle payments.
- Overpayment processing including calculations of overpayments, balance adjustments, prepare communications, correspondence with associates and/or HR, and update HCM to ensure year to date balances are accurate.
- Prepare inbound Excel spreadsheets to be loaded into Kronos Workforce Dimensions or HCM/Oracle Cloud.
- Operate as subject matter expert on payroll procedures and responsibilities.
- Initiate and engage in cross-functional partnerships to deliver optimal results.
- Work with the shared service human resources center (HR Direct) and information technology teams to provide functional support involving the HCM/Oracle Cloud and Kronos Workforce Dimensions payroll systems.
- Identify irregularities and variances against audit and controls criterion, identify patterns and collaborate on a solution.
- Lead testing and implementation of HCM/Oracle Cloud and Kronos Workforce Dimensions system updates with the Data Governance and information technology HRMS team.
- Lead projects and implementing company initiatives.
- Assist management in identifying payroll operations process improvements to drive efficiencies in processes and procedures in a controlled environment, including procedural documentation updates.
- Analyze and make decisions while supporting team with resolving cases assigned from HR Direct for all payroll related issues.
- Conducting Payroll Audits to ensure payroll processing is accurate and precise.

Maximum Salary: $73,395.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Your Experience
- Strong knowledge and application of Payroll laws for United States, Puerto Rico and Canada
- High attention to detail, executes for results, analytical and curious mindset
- Ability to execute tasks in a thorough, composed, accurate and timely fashion while managing multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with multiple systems
- Ability to make recommendations based on analysis and take lead on implementing changes

Additional Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Accounting, Finance, Economics or comparative degree preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in payroll processing, accounts payable or other related experience preferred.
- Strong PC skills. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
- Previous experience in a customer service center environment, preferred.
- Previous experience with HCM/Oracle Cloud and Kronos Workforce Dimensions, preferred.
