Location:
Houston, TX (HO) - HR - NAM
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Administratively supports the VP of SAFECOR and SAFECOR Directors. Manages and maintains distribution and communication lists. Supports Intelex management and updating data showing conformance with GP-14. Maintains Injury/Illness and Motor Vehicle accident loss experience and coordinates the corporate safety incentive program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administratively supports the VP of SAFECOR and SAFECOR Directors
  • Manages and maintains SAFECOR distribution and/or communication lists
  • Support the management of Intelex through by maintaining a list of location requests to communicate to the AL Group
  • Assist in entering events into Airgas and Air Liquide Group Intelex and collecting reports from the field where data has not been uploaded and periodically publishing reports of maturity with GP-14 compliance
  • Assist in uploading SAFECOR documents in Intelex and ensuring documents are being reviewed periodically as well as released in a coordinated manner
  • Coordinates and supports the Airgas safety incentive programs including the: Driver of the Year, Safety Professional of the Year, 10/20/30 Year Safe Driver, 1 Year Safe Driver and sites with milestones.
  • Maintains SAFECOR calendar and helps to manage cadence of SAFECOR meetings
  • Plan/Organize/Coordinate the Airgas Conference including venue, resources, and logistics as well the SAFECOR all-group meetings.
  • Coordinates printing vendors with all SAFECOR manual related items such as 12 Life Saving Rules and Corporate Safety Policy and Corporate Road Safety Policy
  • Produces training certificates for attendees of training conducted by SAFECOR Field Representatives
  • Manage XpertEye scheduling and shipping for SAFECOR
  • Process SAFECOR invoices and submits to A/P for payment
  • Ensures budgetary controls and expenses are being met.
  • Is a back-up to maintaining the SAFECOR web site
  • Process and distribute incoming mail at office
  • Perform other duties as directed by the VP of SAFECOR
  • Light to moderate travel requirements

Are you a MATCH?
Required Education/Licensing:
  • High School Diploma or GED Required. Associate's degree or higher preferred.

Required Length & Type of Experience:
  • Prior administrative support experience preferably in the HSE, oil or gas industry and/or supporting shared services. In lieu of experience, may consider additional education beyond the minimum required as a trade-off.
  • Prior experience using SAP and/or other purchase order databases is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to deal with difficult situations in a diplomatic and professional manner.
  • Creative problem solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Organized and strong time management ability.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adjust communication methods based on customer situations. Demonstrates a clear and effective speaking manner for the purpose of explaining information to customers and employees.
  • A positive approach and willingness to learn coupled with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google applications, including Google Docs, Drive, Sheets and Slides.

  • May occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and move more than 30 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.

  • This role requires that the employee be in the office 3 days per week as agreed upon with the VP, SAFECOR
  • Work environment is mainly an office setting with minimal exposure to loud noises or temperature changes.
  • May require the ability to occasionally work overtime as needed.
