Essential Functions
  • Maintains excellent employee relations by providing support for employees on human resources, payroll, time and attendance, compensation, and benefit related topics.
  • Manages Time and Attendance records and processes site payroll accurately and timely.
  • Responds to internal inquiries and report requests ensuring that the information provided is accurate and complete.
  • Assists in temp to hire hourly recruiting process (develop and place recruitment ads, schedule and conduct interviews, conduct background/reference checks and job offers). Schedules and organize new hire employee orientations.
  • Responsible for HRMS data entry (new hires, terms, changes). Maintains employee records manually, in Excel, and in HRMS systems so that information is accurate and secure.
  • Accountable for the badge system (order new badges, add/delete employees, run necessary reports).
  • Administers safety shoe and prescription safety glasses program.
  • Assists with Finance Department in reporting and budget tracking (daily absorption, maintenance spend reports, FTE and wage reports, fixed asset dispositions).
  • Serves as backup A/P Coordinator. Process department invoices and manage receipts.
  • Orders supplies and maintain office equipment.
  • All other duties as assigned
Skills/knowledge
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport, good problem-solving skills; attention to detail; ability to work with limited supervision; maintain confidentiality of all HR related information.
  • Above average skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated Payroll knowledge and experience. Experience with UltiPro and Workday is a plus.
  • Associate’s in HR, Management or Business preferred. PHR certification a plus. 3 or more years working experience in Payroll, Accounts Payable preferred.
  • Office environment with occasional need to be exposed to manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.
