ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, but other duties may be assigned):

• Lead the charge in finding top talent for MFused, from cultivation to corporate roles, and everything in between.
• Develop innovative recruitment strategies to attract the best and brightest in the cannabis industry.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to build high-performing teams that will propel MFused to new heights.
• Elevate employee performance through impactful performance management initiatives and regular feedback sessions. This role has the opportunity to help develop and run our company performance management tools.
• Drive employee development efforts, helping our team members reach their full potential.
• Ensure compliance with all cannabis industry regulations, while also fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.
• Be willing to teach others your skills and open to learning new skills in HR.
• This role does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Professional HR certification is a plus, but a passion for the cannabis industry is essential.
• A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel.
• If applicable, required to obtain certificates or licenses within 90 days of employment that are required to operate in existing markets. Additionally, will need to be able to obtain certificates and licenses in new markets as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is advantageous.
• At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within the cannabis or closely related industry.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience in multiple markets. Experience in obtaining talent in new markets is advantageous.

• Passion for the cannabis industry and a drive to succeed.
• 21 years or older.

• A knack for spotting talent and a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in the cannabis industry.
• Stellar communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• A strategic mindset with a passion for driving organizational growth and success.
• Tech-savvy? Great! Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite is a must.
• Stay ahead of the curve on employment laws and regulations, ensuring MFused remains compliant at all times.

• Excellent written and verbal skills in English
