company has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team! The HR Generalist works closely with the HR Manager and plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the HR department to ensure efficient and effective human resource operations in support of departmental and operations goals.
Responsibilities:
Perform full-cycle recruiting.
Process paperwork for new hires, status changes and terminations.
Assist with administration of drug free workplace programs and other pre-employment testing.
Conduct new employee orientations and ensures a smooth onboarding process.
Serve as the primary contact for HRIS, ensuring optimal functionality, accuracy, and utilization of the system.
Assist in managing employee benefits programs, answering employee queries regarding benefits, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.
Assist with various research projects and/or special projects as directed by the HR Manager.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of regulatory and general communications.
Organize, update and maintain files, records, and other documents as needed to efficiently perform job duties.
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
Assure absolute confidentiality is maintained as required and sensitive information is handled appropriately.
Actively collaborate with various departmental teams to gather information to create monthly newsletter.
Develop and/or updates HR SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Participate in the planning, coordination and execution of corporate events including procurement of supplies.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualified Candidates must possess the following:
Degree in Human Resources Management or related field or PHR, SHRM-CP certification.
Minimum of two years progressively responsible experience in human resources.
Experience with full cycle recruiting.
Proficient in MS Office suite and HR software systems (HRIS). Paylocity knowledge a plus.
Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Knowledge and application of HR laws and regulations.
Self-directed and detail oriented.
