Responsibilities
Provides Human Resources support and assistance to operations leadership in assigned Brookdale community(s).
- Responds to and tracks calls from associates with questions, concerns, and feedback on HR policies, procedures, and practices. Prepares responses and shares any trends with the Human Resources team.
- Coordinates, monitors, and supports the pre-employment and random drug screening processes.
- Assists field Human Resources Directors with information gathering, problem solving and any special tasks, presentations or projects.
- May assist in developing sources of qualified applicants, conducting screening interviews, administering tests, completing candidate reference and background checks, and coordinating orientation/training for newly hired associates.
- Provides problem solving support and interpretive support to community leadership regarding HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Processes information requests from communities and Human Resources team.
- Provides administrative assistance with Human Resources measurement tools, spreadsheets, and general tasks.
- Maintains the Human Resources intranet page.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. Minimum of one to two years of experience Human Resources, preferably in employee relations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively respond to questions from managers, associates, customers, and residents. Ability to solve problems utilizing critical thinking skills. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word and Excel). Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
