S3, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Senior HR Generalist to join our HR team at our Corporate Headquarters located in Research Park, Huntsville, AL.
Position Description:
The Senior HR Generalist coordinates and executes the development and administration of human resources programs and functions and performs a wide variety of professional level human resources activities in functions such as, employment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, security, unemployment insurance and related areas.
Responsibilities:
• Serving as deputy to the HR Manager when the situation dictates.
• Assisting in the development and conduct of recruiting programs, interviewing, screening, evaluating and selecting qualified applicants, use of Taleo ATS.
• Reviewing requests for classification/grade changes, recommending appropriate salary grades, analyzing salary survey data, developing compensation structure.
• Interpreting human resources policies for supervision, counseling employees concerning work related problems and conducting termination interviews.
• Preparing company benefit brochures and conducting employee onboarding and orientations.
• Preparing and presenting unemployment claims; developing programs and similar asks.
• Conducting research, analyzing data and preparing recommendations on assigned projects.
• Providing assistance to line management regarding employee relations practices and technical guidance to lower level staff.
Experience/Skills Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and at least eight years of related experience in a Federal Contractor corporate facility.
• A skill level of 4 out of 5 or better with Microsoft Office products? (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Five or more years of Defense technical recruiting experience.
• Three years of HR experience working with Service Contract Act (SCA) and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).
• Experience supervising three or more HR employees.
• Three or more years of experience with advanced HRIS platforms to include recruiting Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Experience preparing and delivering employee instructional training for OFCCP compliance and analyzing personnel data for OFCCP compliance and preparing recommendations for corporate actions?.
• Three or more years of experience with Delteck Costpoint or like payroll data entry and data extraction for analytical comparisons.
• Experience working within a formal Quality Management System (ISO/AS9100) for at least 3 years.
