Primary Objective:
To provide administrative support in various functional areas of Human Resources including but not limited to recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and other HR programs to support Sensors
Major Areas of Accountability
1. Performs a variety of duties related to recruiting (non-exempt as well as temporary, contractor, consultants), including, but not limited to creating job openings, screening interviews, reference checking, communicating job offers and tracking job opening status in Success Factors. Maintain records and activity reports. May participate in local career fairs.
2. Coordinates staffing for temporary and regular employees. Includes but not limited to recruitment, resume screening, interviewing process, employment offers, relocation, negotiating fees with temporary agencies.
3. Prepares and conducts new hire orientation.
4. Maintains accurate employee records through the use of the SAP Human Resources/Payroll system by submitting paperwork to corporate for data entry and files hardcopies in the personnel folders.
5. Responsible for providing accurate and clear communication in response to questions regarding employee information and to provide administrative support to ensure employment, compensation and other human resources processes run efficiently.
6. Acts as liaison between corporate benefits administrator, benefit providers, and employees. Is aware of the most recent company benefit policies and any changes to federal and state laws.
7. Participates in the performance review process and reads reviews for discrepancies. Ensures performance reviews are submitted to corporate on time. Completes paperwork for merit and promotion increases and obtains required approvals.
8. Maintains training records in accordance with ISO 9001 procedures pertaining to company sponsored in-house training and individual training records. Follows up on training requests documented in employee performance reviews.
9. Knows and applies the division's quality policy and procedures of ISO 9001 as it relates to area of responsibility and the organization. Follows all standard operating procedures as prescribed and notifies appropriate personnel of any non-conformance.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalency and minimum of five years of office experience, preferably in human resources.
Experience:
- Demonstrated exposure to and experience in various areas of HR including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, legal compliance and benefits administration
- Demonstrated organizational skills and flexibility to ensure successful management of multiple, complex projects
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills including verbal and writing abilities
- Ability to develop professional working relationships with other company employees
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Computer proficiency in word applications, spreadsheets and Human Resource Information Systems
