Texan Eye Center is a well-established, reputable 13 MDs multi-specialty ophthalmology group with 3 optometrists. We are seeking a BE/BC Retina Surgeon to join our practice.

Snapshot of Responsibilities:
- Educate patients about maintenance and promotion of healthy vision.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of health professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Provide or direct the provision of postoperative care
- Document or evaluate patients' medical histories.
- Perform, order, or interpret the results of diagnostic or clinical tests.
- Develop treatment plans based on patients' histories and goals, the nature and severity of disorders, and treatment risks and benefits.
- Perform surgical procedures
- Perform comprehensive examinations of the visual system to determine the nature or extent of ocular disorders.
Diagnose or treat injuries, disorders, or diseases of the eye and eye structures - Participates in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new physicians.
Education and/or Experience
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic
- Completion of an ophthalmology residency training program
- Completion of a Retina Surgeon fellowship training program
- BE/BC in ophthalmology
