Overall Purpose:
The primary role of this position is to support the recruiting, onboarding and orientation for the Timken Lincolnton Bearing Plant, a 650+ employee facility.
Essential Functions:
- Assist HR Coordinator/Training Coordinator with talent management of our operative workforce from cradle to grave life cycle including:
- Hourly and contingent recruiting - Primary responsibility
- Includes posting, sourcing, interviewing, offer generation
- Aid in onboarding, orientation, & company events
- Assist Sr. HR Analyst & Payroll Analyst with administrative tasks
- Hourly and contingent recruiting - Primary responsibility
- Must be currently enrolled or will be enrolled in an accredited college institute.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Administrative experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to act independently and manage projects from initiation to completion
- Ability to operate with high amount of confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power point, HRIS Systems)
- Verbal & written communication
- Activities such as lifting, or pushing/pulling
- Activities where repetitive movement is required such as typing
