Job Summary:

The Director of Human Resources is a key member of VOAOK's leadership team and will lead strategic talent management solutions that align people, HR processes and organizational priorities with VOAOK's vision. This role reports to the President/CEO and serves as a trusted advisor to organizational leadership, on people strategy, and as a mentor to HR team members. The Director of Human Resources will ensure that VOAOK's HR policies and procedures support a positive employee experience and a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Foster collaborative relationships with internal, and external, organizational stakeholders
• Design strategic people-related plans that support a culture of cohesiveness, diversity, equity and inclusion
• Identify and research HR issues; contribute information, analysis and recommendations to executive leadership team
• Provide insightful data to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions
• Be a trusted HR Business Partner to organizational leadership and enhance effectiveness through leadership coaching
• Provide expertise in all areas of human resources including, but not limited to benefits design and administration, onboarding, talent management, culture and compliance
• Lead and/or participate in a variety of HR project initiatives
• Serve as a mentor to HR staff
• Perform other, job-related, duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Critical thinker with strong analytical skills and the proven ability to extract information to support data driven decisions
• Ability to work with diverse populations and navigate complex change management workstreams
• Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Planning and time management skills
• Must represent VOAOK in a positive manner through behaviors that align with VOAOK's core values

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an HR business partner or generalist required
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior level HR business partner, or generalist, role and 1 year of experience supervising and/or leading others preferred

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• SPHR and/or SHRM-SCP Certification preferred
