Position Description:
Enhances the operations by providing Human Resources guidance and support to the HR Department, faculty, staff, volunteers, and external customers. HR support includes but is not limited to the coordination of faculty recruitments, new resident onboarding, volunteer program management, new hire orientation, agency hires, and VOEs. Additionally, this position is responsible for police/procedure interpretation and implementation.

Major/Essential Functions:
- Coordinate, track, and support recruitment activities for faculty recruitments. Ensure posting deadlines and requirements are met. Collaborate with Faculty Affairs, Credentialing/Privileging, Immigration Services, and EEO for appropriate processing and completion. Provide guidance to hiring departments on posting requirements.
- Coordinate the annual onboarding process for new/incoming clinical residents. Partner with GME, clinical departments and Residency/Program Coordinators to ensure timely processing.
- Manage TTUHSC EP's Volunteer Program. Assist hiring departments and volunteers through the onboarding and separation processes. Ensure all documentation and required onboarding and training steps are complete.
- Assist the Benefits team with the coordination of TTUHSC EP's rewards, recognition, and wellness programs (i.e., YOS, retirement, Spring into Wellness, etc.).
- Coordinate and lead NEO (New Hire Orientation) training. Assist with new hire communications and/or announcements. Partner with hiring departments to ensure a positive and engaging entry into TTUHSC EP. Conduct, track, and report NEO feedback surveys. Make recommendations and implement improvements in consultation with HR leadership.
- Coordinate all agency staffing hires. Ensure all hiring department approval documentation is received. Partner with staffing agencies to coordinate candidate application reviews, scheduling of interviews, and hiring of temps. Maintain weekly agency tracker for the purposes of providing hiring department weekly status updates. Responsible for all agency recruitment files.
- Responsible for conducting and responding to all VOE (Verification of Employment) requests within 2 business days of receipt.
- Process, track, and record all Tuition Assistance requests. Maintain tracker for annual reporting purposes.
- Serve as the HR Department's primary administrative support/contact which includes but is not limited to departmental asset/inventory management and associated reporting, serving as HR's Safety Officer (conducting new hire and/or annual training), submitting and tracking departmental work order requests. Collaborate with HR Director to coordinate the onboarding of new departmental staff.
- Provide administrative support to the HR leadership team as needed/requested (for special projects).
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.).
- Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSC EP's Values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Serve as a Value's leader while actively promoting and encouraging staff across the institution.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a higher education and/or academic medical/health sciences center.
- Previous experience performing HR functions related to talent acquisition/recruitment.
- Some understanding of TTUHSCEP OP's, policies, and procedures.
