Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The Human Resources Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department by assisting with various HR functions and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for employee engagement and development.
Duties:
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
- Coordinate employee orientation and training programs
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems such as PeopleSoft and Kronos
- Assist with employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Support HR projects such as strategic planning, change management, and succession planning
- Manage social media platforms to enhance employer branding and attract top talent
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Conduct research on HR best practices and assist with policy development
- Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting and performance evaluations
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proven experience in HR coordination or related roles
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft or Kronos is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
