We have an immediate opening for an HR Business Partner to join our team and serve as a trusted strategic collaborator for our business leaders.  In this position, you will serve as a consultant to leaders on human resource-related issues and act as an employee champion and change agent. In addition, you will manage all aspects of HR foundational areas, including recruiting, compensation, performance management/employee relations, compliance, etc.

• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products and experience with HCM/HRIS database usage and reporting.

Some of the work that you will do:

Strategic HR Support

• Consult with leaders on HR-related issues, suggest new HR strategies, and provide HR guidance, when appropriate.
• Develops partnerships across the organization to deliver value-added service to leaders and employees.
• Proposes and implements policy, guideline, and procedure improvements to improve the alignment of HR, the assigned business unit(s), and/or the organization to the organization’s objectives.
• Leads or attends, as the HR representative, committees, or work groups tasked with moving strategic and tactical initiatives forward.

Tactical HR Support

• Serves as the primary point of contact to answer HR-related inquiries and respond to questions or concerns in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs professional-level human resources work and carries out responsibilities in one or more HR functional areas, such as recruiting, benefits, immigration, compensation, etc.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.
• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Ensures the assigned business unit(s) operates in accordance with company policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Here are the skills that you need:

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role or related role.
• Demonstrated experience providing superior customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ability to follow through on projects.
• Ability to complete domestic and/or international travel, up to 5%.

Here are the skills that will set you apart: 

• Master’s Degree in HR or related field
• Ten or more years of HR-related experience
• Experience with UKG (formerly UltiPro)
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or higher-level of certifications
