Position Summary
Our Commercial Aerospace Business is seeking a dynamic and progressive Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. The Commercial Flight Controls Division (a segment of Parker Aerospace) employs approximately 500 individuals in beautiful North Ogden, UT. This HR role is critical to achieving the objectives of this business through partnering with and supporting the OEM Manufacturing Team. This entails working closely with operations supervisors and our hourly operations team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

This strategic role requires strong business acumen. As a Business Partner to the leaders in the OEM side of the Commercial Business Unit, this role is actively engaged in and provides guidance in the areas of:
Recruiting manufacturing technicians
Competency and Performance Management
Talent Management
Employee Relations
Culture and employee morale
Coaching and advising leaders
As a Business Partner to the leaders within Commercial Flight Controls Division, this role is actively engaged in and provides guidance in the areas of:
Talent acquisition / Recruiting
Talent management
Employee engagement and development
Culture and employee morale
High performance teaming
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or a similar discipline required
Six or more years of professional HR experience. Must have HR experience in a fast paced, multi-shift, manufacturing environment
Thorough knowledge of human resources principles, industry practices, employment law and regulatory requirements related to human resources policies and practices.
Ability to establish goals and objectives and manage projects to completion
Ability to respond to significant inquiries, problems, or complaints from team members, team leaders
Ability to communicate effectively to resolve complex employee relations issues
Ability to support our multi-shift operation, including employee events outside of working hours
