We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR, Operations and Talent Acquisition Manager to oversee the growth and development of our key resource at Billion Dollar Boy - our PEOPLE. This role will work out of US headquarters in New York. We are looking for maternity cover on a fixed term contract of 3 Months.
You will play a critical role in day to day People (HR) life cycle activities and when needed, end-to-end recruitment. Working alongside and supporting our Global HR Director and Global Talent Acquisition Director.
Role & Responsibilities
People/HR:
Administration of employee-related paperwork
Keeping HiBob (HR system up to date)
Maintaining all HR documents and documenting key conversations/activities
Organising and coordinating internal and external training
Oversee employee relations and terminations where necessary (needs to be confident and experienced with local labour law)
First point of contact for HR enquiries, supporting the team members in any way
Checking in with managers to check the agency temperature (also analysing our Winning Temp platform)
Working with the global people team (may not all be required during time frame but as an indication of possible projects)
on the annual forecasting and monthly pay and progression process
design a global onboarding process, and deliver and coordinate the local onboarding
identifying learning and development needs both on department and individual level.
Maintaining and creating up to date policies
Collaborating with the Global People Team on any other global initiatives, and executing local US
Talent Acquisition:
You will predominantly be responsible for managing job boards, sourcing for assigned positions, qualifying talent, and facilitating interviews.
Supporting on sourcing candidates directly through your network, LinkedIn, and other social media sites, relying minimally on outside staffing agencies
Supporting on conducting initial phone and video screens of applicants
Help to build strong, diverse pipelines of quality talent for various positions across all departments
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, agreeing on and coordinating deliverables and priorities
Consistently use our applicant tracking system (Teamtailor) to funnel candidates through the interview process and ensure hiring managers are using the system
Collaborating with the Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion Global Director and executing local US initiatives
Operations:
Ensure a smooth running of the New York and New Orleans offices
Ensure that all new starters have the right equipment
Support IT requirements / suppliers
Manage external providers i.e. landlords
Manage the office budget and ensure value for money is being delivered
Source and purchase office equipment in a cost effective and efficient way
Support the organisation of team events (Holiday Party, Birthdays, etc.) as well as big client meetings
First point of call for any office, operation or equipment related queries
Requirements
Previous stand alone experience in HR within a creative business
HR qualification
Positive attitude and willingness to be an integral part of a growing agency.
Strong attention to detail.
