Job Summary:
The Human Resource Manager will lead the routine functions of the HR department including administering pay, benefits and leave, enforcing company policies and practices, and ensuring legal compliance. They must support a culture where the HR department is a trusted, knowledgeable, reliable, discreet, and professional resource for all staff and management at Wythe Hotel. They will report to the HR Director and Ownership.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with leadership to understand the organization’s goals and needs related to staffing, training, development, and retention. Leads initiatives, policies, and processes to support the organization’s HR goals
- Communicates new policies, information, and directives to all employees. Instructs staff in interpretation of HR policies and procedures. Ensures staff compliance with said policies and procedures
- Manages the full life cycle of all employees including new hire onboarding, performance management and development, and offboarding in tandem with department heads
- Practices positive employee relations, including coaching, counseling, & discipline
- Administers compensation, benefits, and leave programs
- Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Reviews and modifies policies and practices regularly to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and best practices in HR, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to management.

Education and Experience:
- At least 5 years of progressive HR experience in hospitality or a related industry; or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
