Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial records and transactions
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections
- Handle payroll processing, including calculating wages, taxes, and deductions
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Prepare for tax returns and other required financial reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for decision-making purposes
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software :QuickBooks
- Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
