Rubber Soul Brewing Company has called Hummelstown, PA home for over three years, first opening in October of 2020. We currently brew on a 7 BBL system and feature 10 taps of fresh beer. To complement our great brews - we also offer high end nationally acclaimed brands, spirits and specialty cocktails. Job Description

The position of General Manager is a fast-paced role that manages the daily operations and staff of the restaurant, including the execution of all company policies, procedures and systems. General Manager responsibilities include developing and assisting with all sales and reporting tracking, and contributing to the preparation of reports to share with upper management. As General Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our business.

Responsibilities/Skills of the General Manager

• Manage day-to-day operations of the business.
• Oversee the recruitment and training of new team members.
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses for business improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
• Work closely with the kitchen & bar team members to develop seasonal food and beverage menu items.
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to the hospitality industry.
• Monitor customer feedback and respond accordingly.
• Develop strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Prepare regular reports for upper management.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
• Experience working with POS systems - we currently operate on Toast.
• Must be flexible on shifts and days off to include weekends and holidays.

Education/Experience

If you have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and experience in managing restaurant operations, we would love to hear from you. Potential candidates must meet the following requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Has 2+ years of prior experience at a restaurant, bar or brewery.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Knowledge of craft beer and/or serious interest in understanding craft beer styles and the industry.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum of 2+ years managing a restaurant, bar or brewery.
