Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist: $ 19 to $ 23 per hour Part-time or Full-time.

Looking for an expert Accounts Receivable andBilling Specialist for a rapidly growing company that provides medical device monitoring services primarily to Medicare, Medicaid, and Private-Pay patients. Billing is coordinated through the patients’ primary care provider. Collections are ACH or debit card only. Medical insurance coding experience is NOT required. Billing consistently involves a limited number of insurance codes that can be trained and learned easily. The position may be 100% remote. Hybrid for Arlington location preferred.

Key attributes and responsibilities:

• Billing and collection experience a must.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Maintain customer files and documentation.
• Process timely billing and collections.
• Strong attention to detail with outstanding organizational skills.
• Strong customer service skills to address inquiries and resolve issues.
• Identify accounts to be escalated to management, legal and third-party collection agencies.
• Prepare management weekly Accounts Receivable collections reports.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Fast learner.
• Must be comfortable calling insurance companies for patient details.
• Must be able to adapt to change.
• Takes initiative to solve problems.
• Understanding of Medical Terminology.
• Comfortable with a rapid pace of change.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
