Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist: $ 19 to $ 23 per hour Part-time or Full-time.
Looking for an expert Accounts Receivable andBilling Specialist for a rapidly growing company that provides medical device monitoring services primarily to Medicare, Medicaid, and Private-Pay patients. Billing is coordinated through the patients’ primary care provider. Collections are ACH or debit card only. Medical insurance coding experience is NOT required. Billing consistently involves a limited number of insurance codes that can be trained and learned easily. The position may be 100% remote. Hybrid for Arlington location preferred.
Key attributes and responsibilities:
- Billing and collection experience a must.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Maintain customer files and documentation.
- Process timely billing and collections.
- Strong attention to detail with outstanding organizational skills.
- Strong customer service skills to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Identify accounts to be escalated to management, legal and third-party collection agencies.
- Prepare management weekly Accounts Receivable collections reports.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Fast learner.
- Must be comfortable calling insurance companies for patient details.
- Must be able to adapt to change.
- Takes initiative to solve problems.
- Understanding of Medical Terminology.
- Comfortable with a rapid pace of change.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
