Job Overview:
We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations in our dental office. Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect patient information and update dental records accurately
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing
- Handle patient inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide necessary information
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical/dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external contacts
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor

We offer entry level positions without previous experience in dental terminology and insurance verifications starting at entry pay range.

- Applicants with dental Front Office experience are preferred. If you do not have dental Front Office( meaning requiring training on dental terminology, insurance cdt code, and dental software) then you may be eligible for our paid on the job training entry level position starting at $14-16 per hour. Candidates with dental who do not require training with cdt codes, insurance verification for dental categories and dental terminology may qualify for higher starting salary due to less time required to start performing duties ($17 and higher start). - High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Customer service: 3 years (Required)
- medical Front Office: 1 year (Preferred)
- dental terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Dental software knowlegde, dentrix, open dental similar: 1 year (Preferred)
- Dental insurance verification (cdt code): 1 year (Preferred)
- healthcare administrative: 1 year (Required)
