Dog Grooming Apprentice

Twin Tails Cageless Grooming is now looking for three pet Grooming Apprentices to join our amazing Team. We are located on 6525 W. Happy Valley Road in Glendale, Arizona. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable.

Become a professional pet groomer and WE will pay YOU to learn how to groom! Training and tools provided!

Now interviewing and selecting great people to become a Grooming Apprentice and learn how to groom in a total of 16 weeks. Our Groomers average $25-$40 per hour once fully trained.

Our apprentices begin as a dog bather at our salons, then enter our grooming academy for a full hands-on learning experience. Once you complete our training program you be a full time, certified pet stylist grooming at our either our Glendale or Peoria location and paid commission + tips.

You will learn how to:

- Wash, dry and properly prep dogs

- Complete bath and brush appointments from start to finish including nail trimming

- Learn the basics of grooming including all standard haircuts

- Safely handle all pets and provide a stress-free grooming experience for each pet

Skills needed to be considered for this program:

• NO prior grooming experience required! We will teach you everything you need to know!
• Must like working with others is a busy environment
• Be able to communicate with your Team to make the days flow smooth and easy
• Must show compassion for animals and take extreme care of all pets in the salon
• Must be able to move over 50 pounds
• Be able to help the Team clean the salon throughout the day
• Ability to take guided directions
• Enjoy pets and helping others!

Training Location: 6525 W. Happy Valley Road in Glendale, AZ

Pay: $14.35 per hour + A FREE GROOMING EDUCATION (valued at $9500) + a guaranteed job position with Twin Tails at the completion of the course!
