We are seeking a reliable and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Dogtopia of Fairmont Parkway. As the first point of contact for our store, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for our clients and visitors. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and welcoming clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing calls to the appropriate person or department
- Scheduling appointments for daycare, boarding, spa services
- Handling administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
- Calling vet clinics for vaccinations
- Providing excellent customer support and addressing client inquiries or concerns
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong administrative skills with experience in order entry and data management
- Excellent calendar management skills to effectively schedule appointments and meetings
- Familiarity with phone systems to handle incoming calls professionally
- Previous experience working as a receptionist
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional support to clients
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tasks performed
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
