Front Office Coordinator
We are looking for someone who loves helping patients and enjoys connecting patients to the provider of their choice! This is a hybrid position, with two work from home days. This candidate would enjoy building our new department: Patient Concierge by helping answer phone calls for existing patients to make each day better.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We need someone who enjoys talking with patients, answering phones, and being a part of an amazing work culture. The candidate will be the Front Office support for patients and clinicians as a whole. You will be responsible for patient management, checking in/out, answering questions regarding patient insurance coverage and benefits and more. Candidate must be detail-oriented, be able to multitask, have a pleasant personality, be a team player, and possess professional etiquette.
Responsibilities
- Check in and office management
- Answering calls
- Providing patients with initial intake paperwork and evaluating paperwork after completion
- Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
- Answering emails and patient messages via Patient Portal
Skills & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a front desk setting
- Possess prior knowledge of HIPAA requirements is preferred
- Previous experience with EMR/EHR
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
