Front Desk/Party Host

Sunny Day Play Cafe Is an innovative play space for parents to bring their young children to explore in a fun, safe, and exciting environment. While interacting with other adults, parents are able to enjoy coffee, tea and other beverages.

Duties:
- Check in, process payments, bookings
- Implement schedule changes for open play & birthday parties
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
- Monitor and supervise playtime to ensure safety

- Run a story time event as needed

- Host/run a birthday party
- Prep for events and/or parties
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding child behavior/safety

Skills:
- Experience working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities

This position requires a caring and patient individual who is experienced in working with children. The play specialist will be responsible for checking in for open play sessions, processing payments, answering the phone, and booking play sessions, birthday parties and other events. Strong communication skills and an upbeat, positive behavior are essential for success in this role. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
