FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST/SPEC

SummitRidge Hospital provides quality behavioral health and addiction treatment services in Lawrenceville, GA, approximately 30 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta. Our dedicated team of professionals provide caring and professional inpatient, outpatient and support services to adults and adolescents suffering from psychiatric or addictive disorders. Additionally, the Geriatric unit provides acute care for seniors in psychiatric crisis. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Front Desk Receptionist to provide a positive, responsive environment for receiving internal and external customers via telephone and face-to-face. Position Tasks: Answer and respond to incoming telephone calls promptly and in a pleasant, courteous, and clear manner. Demonstrate knowledge of hospital emergency code response procedures. Provide routine hospital-related information to callers and visitors. Sign for, receive, and route incoming mail, including courier deliveries. This Part-time position is primarily evenings 4p-9p and or weekends either 8a-2p or 2p-9p. Includes major holiday rotation.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Prior Admin/Clerical experience in a hospital with high volume calls preferred.
