Seeking full time applicant. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. BUSY, BUSY Neurology practice at Northside Forsyth Hospital. Office hours Monday -Friday 800 am-4:30 pm. (No weekends!) If you are a job hopper or do not have a strong work history...this job is not for you! We are NOT looking for someone who cannot put their cellphone down to do their job. We are only interested in applicants that are serious about their employment. Must have strong organizational and computer skills. Applicant must be extremely detail oriented, capable of multi-tasking and possess great people skills. Also must be a good team player and self starter... As our new Full Time medical secretary your duties include but are not limited to: Registration and data intake, checking in patients, answering phones, routing calls, taking messages and entering into our EHR (Allscripts/Veridigm), scheduling patients and keeping the schedule organized which involves canceling and rescheduling patients as well, when needed. Works with insurance companies to obtain prior authorization for medications when needed. A big plus if you have worked with Allscripts but not a must. Please provide 3 references and resume to be considered. This is an entry level position and with our office being small (10 employees) advancing to a higher position is not likely as we do NOT have a corporate ladder (just a heads up!)
