Aspire Communities is a privately owned, property management group specializing in modern manufactured housing and self storage, with a main business and sales office in Belmont, Michigan.
The ideal candidate will work 20-25 hours a week, approximately 4-5 hours/day to support the Front Desk. 10-3 is preferred, but 9-2 or 12-5 or a similar schedule is also a possibility. Some flexibility is possible.
The Front Desk Office Assistant helps us by being a friendly and professional face in our Home Sales and Business Office. This position primarily handles a variety of administrative task projects, as well as overflow work from others, and directs, or redirects customers to the appropriate person or department. The nature of the work is steady, not frantic, as most of our customer service work falls to the local property managers in other offices, and is generally low volume, and/or able to be handled by phone and email. The office is typically open 9-5 and closes for most holidays.
A representative, though not complete list of tasks is:
- Greeting, directing and/or scheduling customer appointments
- Answering phones, emails, checking physical mail
- Providing customer support for our self storage facility
- Data entry
- Tidying up around office, organizing
- Brewing coffee, ordering lunches for team meetings, etc..
- Ordering office supplies
- Filing (some paper, mostly digital)
- Arranging for care and repair of company vehicles
- A variety of other miscellaneous administrative duties to assist the Management Team Members
