Front Desk Medical Receptionist

Korean Speaking - LA location FULL TIME FRONT DESK/ MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST - PAID

We are a fast growing ophthalmology practice with offices in LA and Orange counties. This position is for our LA office, where you will be working with a team of phthalmologists, optometrists and opticians. Our Practice specializes in general eye care, optometry, and Lasik and refractive surgery.

Medical receptionist's responsibilities will include:

• Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.
• Check in and Check out all patients following company regulations.
• Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors and patients.
• Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner (Follow through patient’s request/matter).
• Maintain confidentiality in regard to all doctor, staff and patient information.
• Schedule appointments between doctors and patients.
• Insurance Verification for incoming patients
• Confirm schedules with incoming patients.

Desired skills:

• Pay attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
• Strong organizational, administrative and planning skills.
• Strong communication skills with Doctors and staff.
• Bilingual Korean
• No experience is necessary. We will train. However, some experience in health administration and some knowledge of insurance is a plus.
• Flexible with working locations at times.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
