SalaryWe are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support the business needs of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a background in medical administration and be willing to understand and learn about other departments and administrative roles. This position will provide a flexible work schedule, with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, etc.
- Answering phone calls and assisting patients with education, instructions, and questions
- Administer medications/injections under the direction of a healthcare provider
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
- Take and record patient vital signs
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Light cleaning and restocking of inventory/supplies
- Assisting with check in and out, ensuring smooth patient flow
- Phlebotomy (blood draws) of patients
- Injections (Testosterone, B12 and other vitamins)
- Market, post and navigate social media to expand clientele
Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
