We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become part of our team for both full-time and part-time positions.
A Medical Assistant who strives to provide quality and effective care for both pediatric and adults patients. Candidate should be comfortable doing both front and back office. Training will be provided by both physician and staff members. Candidate needs to be highly motivated, enthusiastic and responsible.
Responsibilities
● Perform patient in-take (interviewing patient)
● taking vital signs
● Charting in EMR
● Comfortable conducting various back office procedures (injections, skin testing, spirometry, etc.)
● Effective oral and written communication skills (both telephone and in person)
● Comfortable with math
● Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with other staff members
● Knowledge of health education, public health, and medical terminology
Qualifications
● Medical Assistant certificate
● High school or equivalent
● BLS Certification
● Thrive in a fast-paced environment
● Strong organizational skills
● Knowledge of EMR, Word, Excel, Adobe
