Collins Aerospace Systems, part of Raytheon Technologies, is looking for a Financial Associate responsible for both the TEKLAM business, located in Corona, CA., and shared FP&A services support for the Cabin Monuments and Integration business.
The controller will direct the entire business's management and program financial planning, analysis, and control activities. In this role, the controller will partner with leadership and supporting functions, in achieving the organization's strategic financial objectives.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a stable internal control environment, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, while ensuring that the Company adheres to US GAAP.
- Being a trusted partner, providing actionable insight, developing robust financial plans, and driving performance to improve profitability and organizational efficiency.
- Growing, developing talent, and initiating excellent processes
- Ensuring financial investments and business commitments are consistent with the Company's strategic objectives and are generating adequate returns while avoiding financial and operational risks.
- Providing guidance on technical accounting and contractual matters, critical operational and engineering performance drivers, and ad-hoc business analysis.
- Financial analysis and planning process support to the value stream
- Supporting monthly close, forecasting and reporting
- Supporting weekly financial assessment and profit assurance reviews
- Supporting annual planning
- Managing and coordinating financial reporting deliverables for internal management reviews
- Forecasting key elements of the profit and loss and balance sheet
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Excel and financial analysis software
- Experience in the manufacturing or supply chain industry is a plus.
- CMA or CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- SAP experience
