The Financial Analyst is part of the Financial Planning & Analytics ('FP&A') team responsible for developing tools, reports, and analysis to support the business in its financial & strategic objectives. This position will support the FP&A team through the monthly close process, budgeting & forecasting initiatives, operational KPIs, and ad hoc strategic support to leadership. This position will specifically focus on the Manufacturing groups' operational objectives from CapEx planning to Overhead expense management and financial analyses or tools focused on long-term planning, job performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Participate in the development of complex financial models for Financial Statement Forecasts, Cash Flow, Job Cost Projections, and others.
- Own and continuously develop an excel-based Manufacturing KPI dashboard showcasing weekly performance across all of the Company's Contracts for labor, output, safety, and product-specific performance.
- Support the Company's annual forecasting and budget process from monthly reporting, variance analyses, consolidations, and ad hoc research.
- Assist the monthly financial close process through reporting and the development of tools and models to drive process efficiency.
- Prepare period, quarterly, and annual reports with commentary, insights and variance reporting for leadership.
- Analyze and report on weekly labor costs and develop tools to support future headcount planning, accurate time reporting, and labor-KPIs.
- Function as the go-to financial partner for engineering and operating teams to better understand their costs to date and project future performance.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop standard process documentation and identify areas for improvement or greater efficiency.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness, and identify areas of improvement.
- Support leadership in preparing presentations for monthly financial reviews, strategic initiatives, post-mortem revies and special projects.
- Administrate clear project reporting through the company's ERP system.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Automate and SQL to report on project performance and develop workflows for operational teams.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when working with teammates, projects, and proprietary and confidential personal and financial information.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- 3 years' of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role that included financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting is required.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA, CFA or MBA is a plus.
- Job Cost experience in a Construction environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or Vista by ViewPoint software is preferred.
