We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing FP&A team. This is a unique opportunity to partner closely with team members across the FP&A organization and support company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. We are seeking a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and seeks to establish structure in ambiguity. This position is located onsite in our San Diego office.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with colleagues across FP&A to support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly/quarterly executive-level reporting and analyses
• Maintain weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting dashboards to track key financial and performance metrics
• Benchmark peer performance metrics and external financial expectations
• Collaborate closely with peers across FP&A, Accounting, and Investor Relations to drive achievement of functional goals and corporate reporting
• Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of FP&A and Investor Relations
Who You Are:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field is required
• CPA, CFA, and/or MBA a plus, but not required
• Ideally 3 years of experience in a related role with increasing responsibility
• Experience in a commercial-stage medical diagnostics/devices organization is a plus
• Experience at a public and/or high-growth company preferred
• Expert at Excel and Powerpoint
Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively to identify issues, gather relevant data points, and recommend solutions
• Strong verbal and written communicator capable of explaining/presenting complex financial concepts and problems clearly and effectively to all constituents
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and business acumen
• Highly motivated self-starter capable of working under pressure, prioritizing workload to meet deadlines, operating independently with minimal guidance, and exercising ownership for projects and results
• Strong team player; able to integrate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed environment
• Always seeking to evolve processes, controls and systems to support a high-growth company

The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in San Diego is $84,000 to $115,500. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
