Executive Assistant

The Alabama Council on Human Relations (ACHR) seeks candidates for an Executive Assistant. The individual selected will provide administrative, and general clerical support for ACHR with responsibility for a broad variety of office support duties and tasks.

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

• Performs multiple duties which are a mix of administrative and clerical in nature, which may include but are not limited to data gathering, data management, correspondence, filing, calendar management, event scheduling, mail distribution, answering phones, and organizing mail.
• Acts as a point of contact to ACHR departments, customers, and outside agencies/vendors on behalf of the Agency.
• Manipulates and prepares data and other information, databases, or reports using a computer.
• May perform some administrative duties such as assisting the CEO, CFO and HR Director, preparation of reports, documents, and presentations, or coordination of.
• Coordinates complex projects or events.
• Maintains a high degree of confidentiality.
• Is able to take minutes for meetings with a high degree of accuracy.

Entry into the applicant pool requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of experience in administrative support services.

Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is highly desired.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $41,000.00 per year
