About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Executive Assistant to join our team and provide essential support across various functions within our organization. As the Executive Assistant you will be an integral member of our team, working closely and directly with both company founders. You will have unfettered access and direct exposure to how a fast paced venture backed startup scales. You’ll play a crucial role in assisting with administrative tasks, HR responsibilities, sales presentations, event planning, and more. This job is ideal for someone who thrives in a high pressure environment, loves to take on challenges, and enjoys wearing multiple hats.
Your responsibilities
- Work directly with the company co-founders to:
- Assist in the hiring process by posting new job descriptions and the interviewing process.
- Take charge of HR and industry compliance related tasks.
- Collaborate on creating sales presentations for significant clients.
- Provide administrative support for only key sales initiatives, ensuring smooth operation of sales processes.
- Be responsible for documenting systems and processes developed within Sourgum.
- Ensure all documentation for internal use created by other team members is clear and well organized.
- Assist in planning and executing trade show participation, including logistics, giveaways, and event coordination.
- Manage the two co-founders schedules, coordinate meetings, and assist with meeting preparation.
- Procure and manage office supplies to maintain efficient daily operations.
- Coordinate team dinners, events, and celebrations, fostering a positive team culture.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Collaborate with the co-founders in other tasks and duties as they arise.
Requirements
- You absolutely must be tech-enabled and comfortable in a fast pace environment.
- Experience in a similar type of role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or MS Excel and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
