The Sierra Nevada REALTORS® is a local trade organization in Northern Nevada for real estate professionals in 6 counties (Washoe, Douglas, Carson, Storey, Lyon, and Churchill, not including the jurisdiction of Incline Village). The Association is part of the National Association of REALTORS®. The Association works to promote private property rights and the real estate profession in Northern Nevada. The staff of the Association work for the Chief Executive Officer to execute the strategic plan and to promote REALTORS® as trusted experts in the industry.
BASIC FUNCTION:
The Affiliate & Events Coordinator, where you'll manage affiliate relationships and organize impactful events. Responsibilities include affiliate recruitment, event planning, and collaboration with internal and external teams.
Specific Responsibilities:
Affiliate Member Liaison
- Develop, market, administer and coordinate all aspects of Partners of the Association program.
- Develop, market, administer and coordinate all aspects of a’ la cart affiliate advertising opportunities.
- Coordinate education course sponsors and exhibitors for education events, member meetings, and special events,
ENERGYPN Committee
- Responsible for committee maintenance, agendas, minutes, attendance tracking and committee project follow up.
- Responsible for planning of the special events including event advance arrangements, promotion, follow-up, and assistance at events to ensure its success.
- Works with Executive Administrator to manage registrations
- Work with Marketing Associate to create marketing assets based on committee events agenda
Association Events
1. Awards and Recognition Brunch work with Executive Administrator, Vice-President of Operations, & Chief Executive officer to implement annual event.
a. Staff Liaison with Awards Committee to determine nominees and winners
b. Work with Marketing Associate to develop marketing assets for event, includes nominee announcements, slide decks, and registration links
c. Coordinate presenters and nominees
d. Manage & write script and agenda for event.
e. Work with Executive Administrator on logistics, menus, and registrations
f. Work with photographer to capture on film and video
2. Installation work with Executive Administrator, Vice-President of Operations, & Chief Executive officer to implement annual event.
a. Plan meetings with incoming President for development of ideas, themes, menus, location, not inclusive
b. Work with Executive Administrator to manage registrations, contracts, event necessities including coordinating Officers & Directors attendance
c. Work with marketing associate to develop program, slide decks, and marketing assets
d. Manage & write script and agenda for event
e. Work with photographer to capture event on film and video
3. Member Meetings work with Executive Administrator, Vice-President of Operations, & Chief Executive officer to implement annual event.
a. Manage affiliate alley, schedule partners and other vendors for affiliate alley
b. Manage script and agenda
c. Work with Marketing Associate to promote event through marketing assets, event slide decks
d. Work with Executive Administrator to manage logistics of event: location, food, registration
e. Work with Vice-President of Operations/Chief Executive Officer for agenda, guest speakers, and timeline
f. Work with photographer to capture event on film and video
4. New Member Orientation
a. Work with Education Team to have sponsors for individual sessions
b. Manage Affiliate Alley for power hour lunch
c. Send list of attendees (no emails) to affiliates for follow-up
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Sits on IDEA Committee as support for the Executive Administrator
- Assist in the front desk coverage and answering phones upon the third ring as necessary.
- Conducts projects as requested by management; assist in coordination of projects in progress and initiates action upon request of management.
- Prepare or finalize correspondence independently wherever possible, by either composing and sending replies or preparing drafts for management review and approval.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Internal Relationships:
Reports to the Vice President of Operations and Chief Executive Officer. Has regular contact with all association management and staff regarding administrative matters; works closely with all staff regarding member and affiliate benefits, and association services.
External Relationships:
Works with a variety of businesses to explore member benefits and affiliate membership opportunities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
