The Event & Marketing Coordinator will support the marketing team in executing various events and promotions at The Property. Responsibilities also include maintaining and posting on various social media platforms for the Property and creating promotional materials for Team Members and Guests. This position works closely with all related departments to guest satisfaction to ensure a positive gaming experience.
Job Requirements:
- Coordinate, implement and execute promotions, special/outdoor events, and other casino marketing efforts
- Responsible for developing rules and regulations for all casino promotions and special events
- Ability to communicate Marketing information effectively with all related departments to ensure proper and efficient preparation and execution of promotions and events
- Responsible for assisting in the design of menus, promotions, advertisements, etc.
- Responsible for day-to-day access to and upkeep of Social Media sites, including Facebook and Instagram, as well as the Property website.
- Demonstrate use and knowledge of Adobe products, effective design methods etc.
- Ensure competency of work from the standpoint of grammar, composition, and format
- Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate special events and promotion records and reports
- Involved in the recommendation process and coordination of charitable contributions and sponsorships
- Responsible for distributing all monthly marketing materials and promotional rules onto the casino floor
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- 1-2 years' experience in Marketing, PR, Communications or Advertising environment preferred
- Casino/Hospitality background a plus
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- The ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members and management.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
