- Managing the overall financial record of clients
- Performing clerical duties, such as answering phone calls and emails, filing paperwork, and scheduling appointments
- Reconciling bank statements by comparing statements with the general ledger
- Maintaining accounting databases by entering data into the computer and processing backups
- Verifying financial reports by running performance analysis software program
Other duties of an Accounting Clerk include:
- Budgeting
- Reporting
- Working out accounting entries

- Maintenance of the general ledger
- Preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports
- Reviewing, coding, and verifying transactions including billings, invoices, checks, and journal entries
- Supporting accounts receivable, accounts payable and reconciliations
- Acting as a cashier to verify receipts and deposits
- Preparing and maintaining records
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
