The Donor Relations Officer (DRO) will ensure an exemplary relationship with our fundraising volunteer groups by providing operational support, gift administration and customer service. The DRO develops relationships that will lead to solid major gifts prospects and thoroughly vets them via the prospect research and qualification program. This position oversees the database and provides support and knowledge to maximize the Office of Philanthropy's use of the tools. Through effective and efficient administration and stewardship, the Donor Relations Officer will contribute to the team's fundraising efforts and focus on both building, managing and growing relationships with our donors.
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in related field required
• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate and 7 years of related professional experience may be substituted for education and experience
Experience
• 3 years of fund development experience, including Raiser’s Edge database support required
• Experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting preferred
