Title: Project Coordinator / Document Control Specialist
Division: Energy - Midstream
Location: Houston, TX (Must be living in the Houston area for this position)
Summary: The candidate will be involved with project coordination from initiation of project until closeout, serving as a point of communication for the Company and Clients.
General Responsibilities:
- Execute quality check of documentation to be distributed to Clients and maintain multiple databases for storage of metadata while utilizing different ftp sites based on Client preferences.
- Organize and maintain the storage and archiving of project records and provide guidance of team members in the appropriate storage of project documentation.
- Assist in overseeing of each project from proposal to closeout. Perform internal check of project closeout documents, coordinate for final drawing package completion and submittal and review project invoicing.
- Communicating across direct organization and interfacing with the client Design Coordinators and following their frameworks to get through processes while ensuring the accuracy of deliverables. Provide client conflict resolution for project deliverables to ensure close out.
- Participation in client meetings and compilation of meeting minutes and RFI submittals and resolution tracking.
- Development of procedures for document storage and handling and associated quality control.
- Perform routine office duties which include composition of correspondence, mail, copying, scanning, and filing. Additionally, any other duties assigned or required to meet objectives of position.
Required Education/Licenses:
- Strong computer skills with specific knowledge of Microsoft Projects, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Formal training or equivalent experience in document management software, processes or systems is required.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to communicate effectively to client contacts, project managers and regular team / staff.
- General knowledge level of knowledge of typical content organization, format of Engineered Project Documentation and of oil/gas related facilities, operation of pipelines, meter and compressor stations is preferred.
Required Experience:
- 2 – 4 years of document control experience
- Experiences with PIDs, AutoCAD, CADWorx, Promax, and CAESAR software/procedures are a plus.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
Physical Requirements:
- Sit for extended periods of time working on computer
- Driving to and from various outside meetings

Ability to define routine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to solve routine problems and/or deal with a variety of variables in situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
