CDI Engineering Solutions is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.
Responsibilities:
Hybrid work schedule (2 days remote)
Jr/Entry level Document Control Position, ideally candidate will have up to 2 years experience.
Deliver project Document Control against project procedures for internal and external engineering, design, vendor documents, and project correspondence.
Comply with the Company Records Management Policy for Controlled and not Controlled documents.
Project filing and archiving and handover preparation.
Paper and electronic document flow within project team, and from/to contractors or vendors.
Support the Doc Control System – Assai-EDMS.
Manage all paper and electronic document flow within project, and from / to contractors or vendors.
Ensures proper and consistent compliance with all company approved policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office, Document Management Systems.
Experience with Assai; Excel; Adobe Pro.
Exposure to at least 1 set of practices and sub-sets of the major components of the Document Control profession.
Follow company standards, policies, and procedures for Document Control to ensure compliance and expectations.
Currently posses or have the ability to obtain a TWIC Card.
Excellent organizational skills, written, and oral skills.
Ability to work under own initiative, manage & prioritize tasks.
Experience in adapting to different sets of practices.
Positive customer focus attitude and passion for the customer.
Clear results orientation and capacity to manage self-performance.
Competence in problem solving and good decision-making skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and presentation skills.
Experienced on industry standard software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Ensuring existing and updated documentation is properly titled, organized, and easily identifiable.
Recognition of cross-discipline engineering & equipment data documents.
Skill in effectively controlling and documenting deviations.
Rate not to exceed approx $22 hourly.
