Business Owner Representative (Dispatch)
HOURS:Friday to Monday - 8:00am to 5:00pm
JOB SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is supporting the Owner Operator by meeting customer service commitments. This includes utilizing satellite communications technology to ensure that Owner Operators operate safely and follow safety policies. The Business Owner Representative is also responsible for day-to-day activities to achieve 100% high-quality service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with drivers
- Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Resolve issues with Customer Service
- Be able to detect unsafe activities and address appropriately.
- Schedule required training and ensure completion by the driver
- Handle routine pay questions.
- Work with various departments; i.e., claims, customer service, payroll, legalization, fuel, safety, and outside vendors.
- Any other job related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE + SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum high school education or equivalent work experience.
- Outstanding communication skills through use of phone, email, face to face and computer systems.
- Excellent data entry and accuracy.
- Able to work equally well on an individual or team basis in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Possess clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows.
- Able to plan and organize activities efficiently
