PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role will be responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of a comprehensive multi-year Change Management strategy to support and enable an enterprise-wide transformation program. Work will include leading Change Management and transformation activities; partnering with Corporate Communications to identify and deliver effective change coordination and communications to applicable stakeholders and decision makers; ensuring employee adoption of organizational changes; and facilitating collaboration and information sharing across business groups and workstreams to help drive transformation success. This role is part of a broader Transformation Management Office (TMO) and will report directly to the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO). Note: This is a flex position meaning this role will be part remote and part in the office.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee Change Management strategy development and execution stakeholder analysis, change impact analysis, organizational readiness measurement, leadership alignment, change story development, etc.).
- Partner with Corporate Communications on development and execution of related communication strategies/plans to ensure real impact of the transformation is captured and communicated.
- Establish relationships across the organization and work with all levels of leadership, management and staff to ensure that changes are implemented smoothly and effectively (e.g., managing a change champion network, advising leaders on the best forms of communication to reinforce Transformation goals, etc.).
- Communicate progress and issues to Senior Leaders (e.g., create a list of milestones to deep dive) and conduct team talks and feedback sessions to ensure smooth working experience for the TMO team.
- Support the broader Transformation Management Office (TMO) as needed on transformation work (e.g., project management support, vendor management, workshop/meeting facilitation, etc.)
JOB SCOPE
Strong knowledge of current theories, applications, and best practices in Change Management. Strong meeting, group, and team facilitation skills at senior levels of the company and across businesses. Strong written and verbal presentation skills, including developing engaging PowerPoint presentations and graphics. Fundamental knowledge of organization analysis, performance improvement, high-performance teams and group dynamics. Proven experience managing client relationships and expectations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in organizational Change Management or related discipline and typically 12 years' experience in organizational Change Management or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Experience leading, managing and contributing to large transformation projects or sub teams. Experience leading/working with forums established for change programs (e.g., change champion network). Strong judgment and excellent analytical ability. Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of leaders and employees. Ability to efficiently translate complex messages into user-friendly deliverables including, but not limited to infographics, newsletters, training, and presentations using tools such as MS Office, SharePoint, and Adobe Creative Suite
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate degree. Project Management certification. Familiarity with Prosci or similar Organizational Change Management certification. Experience managing budgets for functional area of responsibility.
