Senior Change Manager

Job Description Summary

As a Senior Change Manager within our Global Procurement Organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving and implementing strategic initiatives aimed at transforming and optimizing our procurement processes. You will be responsible for leading change management efforts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring smooth transitions in the face of organizational changes. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to drive adoption, minimize resistance, and maximize the benefits of procurement-related changes.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Change Leadership:

  • Develop and execute change management strategies and plans to support the successful adoption of procurement policies, transformations, processes and technologies.
  • Lead change initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Identify and engage key stakeholders across the procurement organization, ensuring their involvement and commitment to change initiatives.
  • Foster open communication channels to address concerns, obtain feedback, and promote a positive change culture.
  • Design and lead meaningful engagement with Procurement’s internal and external stakeholders including business partners, tech users and suppliers.

Communication and Training:

  • Develop clear and effective communication plans to articulate the benefits, objectives, and impacts of procurement changes to various stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the training team to design and deliver targeted training programs that enable employees to adapt to new processes and technologies.

Resistance Management:

  • Proactively identify potential areas of resistance to change and develop strategies to mitigate resistance.
  • Work closely with leadership to address concerns and encourage a positive attitude towards change.

Metrics and Evaluation:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of change initiatives.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and adjust change management strategies accordingly.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments and functions impacted by procurement changes to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to transformation.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless collaboration.
  • Lend communication and change management expertise to colleagues in the Global Procurement community.
  • May require occasional travel between 10% to 20%

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Change Management, Communications or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in change management, preferably within a procurement or supply chain environment.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management and familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) is highly desirable.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $119,000.00 - $140,000.00
