Our client is seeking an innovative and people-focused Director of Human Resources to join their dynamic team in Overland Park. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer (CPO), the Director of HR will play a pivotal role in driving the HR strategy forward in alignment with our company's rapid growth and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a high performer with a proven track record of leading HR initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity. This role is onsite in Overland Park, KS.
Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CPO to develop and execute innovative HR strategies that support the company's growth objectives. Lead the HR team in implementing forward-thinking initiatives to engage and retain top talent.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a culture of open communication, trust, and respect. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment. Proactively address employee concerns and implement solutions to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Innovation in HR Practices: Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in HR management. Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve HR processes and practices to meet the evolving needs of the organization. Implement technology-driven solutions to streamline HR operations and enhance the employee experience.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management processes to drive high performance and accountability across the organization. Provide coaching and support to managers on performance feedback, goal setting, and development planning.
  • Culture and Engagement: Champion a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity. Develop and implement initiatives to promote employee engagement, well-being, and work-life balance. Lead efforts to strengthen our employer brand and reputation as an employer of choice.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • SHRM-S/CP or S/PHR certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on strategic leadership and innovation.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement innovative HR solutions in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
