Summary of position
Responsible for providing general HR support and services to multiple facilities within a designated region. Serves as a strategic business partner with operations. Provides advice, support and counsel as well as implement s systems to manage human capital to include strategies for effective staff retention and recruiting initiatives, wage and compensation management, benefits administration, employee relations and human resources management consultation, policies and procedures administration, employee engagement programs, conflict resolution, labor relations, training and compliance with applicable state and federal laws . This position also supports HR technology and Integrations.

- Recruitment strategies
- Works with facilities and region team(s) to improve recruitment, selection and placement activities of staff
- Participates in designation recruiting activities, job fairs
- Interacts with key universities and schools
- Retention
- Works with center and region staff to improve turnover and retention statistics and develop strategic plan
- Policy Administration
- Education and interpretation to center /region leadership
- Labor Relations
- Contract Negotiations/grievance management
- Union avoidance Training
- Litigation Management

- Investigatory protocol administration and direction

- Completes Market analysis
- Provides labor cost control strategies
- Reviews and completes wage plans/proposals with center leadership
- Performance Management
- Trains and advises center leadership on all areas of performance management to include:
- Annual PMAs
- Disciplinary process and administration
- Payroll administration for facilities within designed regions
- Training and development in payroll process/administration
- Worker's Comp
- Provides training and assistance to include modified duty options, tracking Lost Time and claims review
- Complies Works with center and region staff to improve turnover and retention statistics and develop strategic plan with laws and regulations applicable to position and act in accordance with Center 's Compliance Program
- Attends and participates in in-service training, performance improvement ("PI") committees and other meetings as scheduled and directed
- HR Operations
- Understands the inter-working of HRIS, HRM and ATS systems
- Responsible for the implementation, integration and Communicaton of system changes and development
- Safety
- Knows and follows center rules
- Follows center dress and hygiene policies
- Demonstrates proper use of equipment. Reports equipment needs or repairs
- Follows center smoking policies
- Reports and documents any incidents or accidents of residents, staff or visitors to the appropriate center personnel
- Reports all hazardous conditions/equipment to Supervisor
- Performs duties, which may include transportation of residents, as assigned in Center Disaster Plan
- Uses required protective equipment
- Follows infection control standards, policies and procedures
- Resident Rights
- Knows Resident Rights. Helps the residents/patients exercise and/or protect their rights
- Reports resident/patient complaints to management
- Maintains confidentiality of resident/patient information
- HIPAA
- Follows and adheres to Center 's policies and procedures implementing HIPAA requirements for the privacy and security of protected health information
- Uses and/or discloses only minimum amount of Protected Health Information necessary to complete assigned tasks
- Reports all suspected violation of company's HIPAA policies or procedures to Center Privacy Designee
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination of formal education and job specific work experience)
- At least 5 years in progressive human resource role
- Multi-facility experience
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft products
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Post-acute care or health care experience preferred
