SambaNova Suite™ is the first full-stack, generative AI platform, from chip to model, optimized for enterprise and government organizations. Powered by the intelligent SN40L chip, the SambaNova Suite is a fully integrated platform, delivered on-premises or in the cloud, combined with state-of-the-art open-source models that can be easily and securely fine-tuned using customer data for greater accuracy. Once adapted with customer data, customers retain model ownership in perpetuity, so they can turn generative AI into one of their most valuable assets.

We are searching for a Director of Business Development and Lead Generation to lead the strategic development of our sales pipeline across the entire SambaNova product suite. In this position, you will have the opportunity to build and scale both traditional Business Development programs as well as more strategic pipeline generating initiatives. The ideal candidate is someone who is experienced in leading a breadth of Lead Generation strategies specifically within the AI space.

This individual will be responsible for:

  • Building, leading and enhancing sales pipeline development initiatives, focused on identifying, targeting, and effectively engaging our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Innovating and testing various Lead Generation and sales development strategies, including Business Development Representative (BDR) pilot programs, third-party syndication, and top of funnel (TOF) lead gen efforts, to expand the company's sales pipeline.
  • Employing data-driven approaches to refine sales techniques, optimizing for the most impactful Lead Generation methods and sales engagement tactics.
  • Analyzing strategic sales opportunities to understand and leverage the most effective messaging, sales methodologies, and value propositions that resonate with target customers.
  • Collaborating closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure alignment on target customer profiles, messaging, and sales strategies.
  • Analyzing market trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to continually adapt and improve Lead Gen approaches, ensuring the company remains competitive and responsive to market needs.
  • Creating targeted and impactful messaging scripts.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales, Business Development, and/or Lead Generation experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • 2+ years of experience within the AI space

Annual Salary Range and Level:
The base salary for this position ranges from $200,000.00 per year up to $230,000.00 per year plus variable. This range is based on role, level, and location and reflects the salary target for new hires in the US. Individual pay within the range will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's job-related qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
